My name is ming. I am currently studying a double degree in classical piano performance in ANU (Australian national university) and actuarial studies. I am also a successful piano cover artist/arranger on youtube with more than 1960+ subscribers and 300,000+ views (Channel name: Animepianoangel). It is my passion to not only share music through performance in mutiple genres: classical, anime, pop music, and Jazz, but also  in teaching the art of piano. I have taught and am teaching in 2 different piano schools and privately with more than 25+ concurrent students just from part time. I have experience in teaching all abilities and ages (Student age range 4-60). Some of my student learn to play their favourite themes from movies, anime and popular music. Other students choose the more traditional AMEB classical exam route with great results including distinction A and above!

Ming has had numerous performance experience. Ming, under his artist name Animepianoangel, was invited through audition to performa as a guest in SMASH, Sydney's biggest anime convention with more than 10,000+ attendees in 2018, 19.  He was also selected to perform Animenz and ishter’s masterclass (largest anime pianist on YouTube, each with more than 1 million subscribers) in 2018 through audition in front of around 100+ people.

He also has many experience in playing in public spaces and competitions. He won 1st place in the national competition, Generations in Jazz, in division 2 in 2016 along with his school band. He played and currently plays in ANU for classical recitals. Back in his secondary school days, he performance in weekly assembly for more than 1,000 people as audience. He arranged his school’s song and for plays it for everyone to sing along as well as improvising background music in the beginning and ending of each session.
